They all seize up at the SMALLEST intake of an artical paper, bead, or article OTHER than DUST. You have to take apart the entire vaccuum until you reach the motor to unsieze it. Save your money and get a regular weight metal part vaccuum! It's never jammed, has a 40ft cord, is twice as powerful as a Oreck XL, and carries around the house beautifully.
