This faucet is rather unique in a couple of ways that are not readily apparent at first glance. The first unique piece of engineering is the removable nozzle assembly that allows users to grab the spigot and pull it out nearly two feet (although there is no way of changing the water flow to sprinkle like many kitchen designs in this area). The second is the drain design. Many bathroom faucets require a ton of wrangling underneath the sink to determine the proper push and pull distance for the arm that controls the bottom stopper, usually via a system utilizing a thin strip of metal with holes in which the pop up assembly arm attaches. Plumbers may have this system down pat but I never have and invariably I start losing my religion after an hour or so of going up and down trying to determine the proper hole. My husband is NOT a handy man - when he replaced the ceiling fans I stayed awake the entire night swearing that the house would catch on fire. I loved this faucet and was hoping that it wouldn't take him all day to put it in, or that we wouldn't have to call for help! "Give me 30 minutes," he said, "and it'll be in." Uh huh, I've heard that before. And then a few hours later I usually hear him complaining. But not with this faucet! This faucet was extremely easy to install, and within 30 minutes he had the old one out and the new one in, thanks to the unique drain design. It's beautiful, works perfectly, and I only have one question: how do we keep kids from spraying the faucet all over the bathroom?! LOL. Other than dealing with the spray mechanism, the American Standard Outreach faucet installs just like a standard sink faucet. There are picture instructions and an 800# to call for help if you get stuck. The faucet carries a limited lifetime warranty for the original consumer purchaser that has the original sales receipt (proof of purchase). Use-wise, the faucet design is a simple design and can be used in both traditional and contemporary settings. The chrome has a nice high shine polish. The faucet works great in a setting where the only available water source is a bathroom sink (spray mechanism allows us to fill the Keurig water reservoir & makes it easier to wash coffee mugs & utensils). The only thing to be mindful of is that the spray hose retracts into the back of the sink, so you need to make sure that the "path" is clear.
