2.0 out of 5 stars Expensive for low-quality shoes, September 19, 2011
By
My 5 year-old daughter wanted these shoes since first seeing them while watching TV. Since she is already taking dance, I thought she would enjoy these, so I shelled out the $50 without much thought. She wore these shoes after getting them to demonstrate to everyone, then wore them to school once before one of the spin rings fell off. She, and I as well, are extremely disappointed in the these shoes. Since that day, the shoes have not left her closet. She wants another pair, put spending another $50 for a shoe she wears a couple of times seems absurd! Maybe I got a "lemon" shoe, but I don't really want to risk it.

2.0 out of 5 stars not all that, September 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
My daughter was soo excited about these shoes...she liked the way they fit and how she could spin...HOWEVER one of the spinners broke completely off today (she has had them less than a month). So not only was that a big bummer because they were fifty bucks but its also a slipping hazard now. Where the spinner was is like a slick circle of metal and when she steps her foot slides out from underneath her. I am going to return them and NOT buy another pair. Another thing we noticed that after she wore them out a few times the spinners get stuff in them and don't spin as well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous, August 22, 2011
My 5 year old daughter tried these on at the shoe store this weekend. They had just gotten them in and she was the first kid to try them on. They told us they were the new big thing and they had been getting call after call to see if they had them yet. Since she loves to spin, we thought they sounded like a lot of fun. She put them on and spun on the carpet and everything was fine although on the carpet they didn't get much spin. The clerk had her go over to the wood floor and give them a try. The first time she spun, she lost her balance and went crashing down to the floor, almost taking a table down with her. Needless to say, we didn't buy the shoes. She also said they were not that comfortable because she could feel the spin disc when she was walking.
