Still, this faucet was super easy to install - all I needed was a pipe wrench to remove the large pipe nut holding my old drain to the sink. I didn't realize the faucet came with a new drain too, although that makes sense. Gold Box deal for $60 for a wonderful faucet with a classy look and great water flow. Make sure that your little rubber washers are correctly seated in your supply lines before you connect them to the faucet connections; the first time I did this i forgot them and the faucet leaked underneath when I turned the water on because they were not supplied. I just reused the old ones from All in all, a perfect, easy to install one piece faucet assembly with no discernable problems. If you can get a deal on it, buy it! It is plastic. I don't change Faucet often. The last time I change faucet with drain was long time ago. The last time I change faucet set, the drain that come with was brass by Delta. It was also around $60-80. Also, the soft black rubber that is on the drain seem a little "old" and dry. It seems that the item wasn't storage at a good location. The rubber acts like a seal, so it is very important. I will have more update after installation. |
