They provide protection without much pressure on my feet because the leather is soft. The soles are reasonably sturdy and the arch support is light, making them suitable for short walks or use around the house. Both the price and style on the Rockports were good, and when the shoes were received I was pleased. Leather is soft and the style and workmanship are very nice. The only draw back to the shoes is the fit, I wear a 12 D and these shoes fit very snuggly, in fact I had to buy some very thin socks for the shoe to fit comfortably, maybe a larger size would have been better but I was afraid they might stretch and then be too large? If the wife will let me I probably will order another pair of these in another color, guess that says I would recommend the shoes. |
