Its pricy but its worth it..the performance it comes with it along with improved traction and flexibility is great and yes of course its lighter than regular volleyball shoes. If your a constant volleyball player, i recommend these shoes. Also, the shipping was fast and it arrived as advertised. I've been rotating between Ashway's, Adidas, and New Balance. All fine. I ordered the Hi-Tec S750 because of its design technology. It was so uncomfortable I sent it back immediately.I was a little worried about exchanging for the Wave Lighting 7 because of its lack of lateral support. Racquetball and volleyball are indeed different animals. However, I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am with this shoe. First off its the most comfortable thing I've ever put on my feet. My custom orthotics went in with no problems and in no way hindered the shoe's performance. These babies are light yet have tremendous cushioning. My knee pain went away the first week I played in them. They grip better than any other hard court shoe I've tried, and the breather vents in the sole actually work. Stop wearing basketball or running shoes, they don't give you the dynamics that you need for volleyball. If you want top quality shoes always trust Mizuno volleyball. Don't waste your money with cheap volleyball shoes from Nike, Adidas or Kaepa they just don't work and you will just waste money and risk injuries. Asics volleyball shoes are OK, I use to own a pair but I felt more comfortable wiht my old Wave Lighting 5 and I stop wearing them before buying this model. they are worth the price |
