It has great suction and a fantastic detachable blower. I have and have had lots of different shop vacs, being a contractor there are several in my shop and a couple on the job site. This has the best suction of any vac I've owned, including the Ridgid industrial two-stage, 11.5 amp vac, which by the way I'm truly disappointed in. When we are done framing walls and there's plastic pieces all over the floor from the nailers, we just pull off the blower section and it cleans the whole place out in nothing flat.
