I'm the kind of guy that wears flip flops any chance I get in the summer and I now feel the same way about these for the winter. We have a "shoes off" policy in the house, so I keep these clogs by the door and slip then on when I have to run in and out. Also wear them for casual days out. Great w/ a pair of jeans. I also wear them when messing around in my wood shop (aka the garage). The treads on the bottom do a good job of holding the ground even in icy conditions. I've always been a Birkenstock fan, and have had several pairs of clogs. Even though I do love my Birkie's, I have to say these Simple's are better. Time will tell if they hold up as long however...I've had my current pair of Birkie clogs for 7 years and I'm not easy on them.The biggest thing I was impressed with on these clogs is how easily they broke in. I'm used to a couple of weeks of sore feet with my Birkenstocks, but these literally only took a day or two. I could see where these may be kind of hot during the summer since they are lined, but they are great for the winter. Overall, I'm extremely happy with these clogs! |
