Im using a good amp to power them and they hit so hard. The bass is so deep and strong, pretty much like having a 12in sub in your trunk. The mids are also very loud, crisp, and clear. The treble and mids are FANTASTIC. They are clear, precise, and can be cranked. The bass is very good and the only reason I say that the bass isn't fantastic is because these are some huge speakers with some huge magnets so you really need a powerful radio or separate amp to power these to get the full bass. My radio distorts the music when I turn the bass up really high because my radio is only like 15W per channel. Works extremely well if you upgrade later to a sub to separate the highs and mids to these speakers and the bass left the subs. Pros -FANTASTIC treble and mids -Great Bass -Work great if you use with a subwoofer and use a high pass filter for the bass and just let them play the trebel and mids which is where they REALLY shine. -Great construction -Look great -Fantastic price for... I can now turn it up without any distortion.I haven't seen wat these babies are capable of yet because there wired to the deck, but plan on getting an amp soon. The only bad thing i can say about them is that they are bulky and might not fit just rite, but other than that great speakers. |
