The Powerbass L-154D as the weapon of choice means deep bass. The Powerbass engineering team conducted numerous tests before releasing this latest woofer and the benefits are obvious. First, Powerbass developed the Z2 second generation cone technology. Using an improved Zirconium Titanium enhanced poly cone as the center piece, Powerbass pushed the envelope and redefined the standard for earth shaking SPL. A large motor structure features a CNC chrome plated top plate and large domed backplate to ensure this woofer looks as good as it performs. A vented KSV (Kapton) voice coil former was selected for optimum performance and cooling for maximum heat dissipation. Each L-series woofer includes mounting template, application guide with box building tips and an official Powerbass decal.
