It hauls up to 250 lbs. of gear and supplies. Takes that big trophy out of the deep woods with little effort. Folds flat like a pancake in seconds to fit in your vehicle or for compact storage. 4.0 out of 5 stars good product for the money, September 14, 2011

This review is from: Guide Gear Deer Cart (Misc.)
I got mine today, and it setup pretty easy, it is pretty self-intuitive as to how it goes together. It hauled my 14 yr old 6ft 1" kid around pretty easy! It is obviously made with off-the-shelf items, and the unit needs the following easy & cheap modifications for hunting:
1 - go out and buy FOUR QUALITY - STAINLESS carriage bolts with wing nuts and flat washers. use these to hold the arms where they connect to the cart in place of the D-Rings. You can tighten down on it and hold it in place with no rattles. Keep 1 or 2 D-rings in your pocket, should you lose the stainless steel bolts
2 - If you bought quality Stainless bolts, then you may or may not actually need the two D-rings down at the folding part, but carry 'em anyway
3 - Remove the center cotter pin and just let that center shaft free-spin
4 - Use quality flat washers inside the cotter ins and it sure will roll easier
5 - the presrvative oil stinks big time, so assemble it and leave out in the... Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars deer cart, October 11, 2007

This deer cart is very cheap and will make so much noise while rolling through the woods it will surely scare every deer away. I had to spend about 2 hours welding the cart together to make it functional. I ended up throwing away all the quick connect device's as they were the problem making this product rickedy and noisy. Works great now that it is all welded together though.

4.0 out of 5 stars priced right, December 11, 2008

this cart is packable and most packable carts are noisy. I used extra washers on the wheels and bolts with wing nuts on the detachable items and it works great... WORTH THE MONEY....
