The Classic Series II acoustic guitar is arguably the most incredible value you can find in an all-solid guitar. Featuring a solid Engelmann spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, and a one-piece mahogany neck, each handcrafted guitar has a loud, expressive acoustic tone and excellent playability. These guitars feature fully scalloped forward-x bracing for strength and resonance in lower registers and more clarity in the highs. Series II models have a Recording King "crown" M.O.P. headstock inlay and abalone snowflake position markers. The 30's-style features on this guitar include the traditional diamond volute, a vintage-style beveled pickguard and classic butterbean tuners. This review is from: Recording King Classic Series II OOO-Style Acoustic Guitar (Rosewood) (Electronics) This guitar is very well designed & built, it is a pleasure to hold & to hear & getting better by the day. The finish may be a bit on the heavy side & a small finish imperfection on the inner part of the sound hole is the only thing that could be perceived as a flaw. To me it is just a "beauty mark". I've been so impressed that I ordered a RD-16-CFE that arrived yesterday & it is equally as beautiful & perfect in every significant respect.
