I was using the NO POO for weeks when my hair started to feel "gunky"....My scalp felt coated with sebum and I didn't feel that NO POO was getting my scalp clean enough...Eventually, my hair started feeling like I was putting hand lotion on it, instead of shampoo. Deva Curl is a whole protocol that is enhanced by using their conditioner and styling products for the full effect of getting perfect curls. I had a Deva Curl haircut...but the curls were starting to look weird and frizzed out. I started hating the haircut but my stylist told me to switch to LOW POO for awhile...and only use NO POO once a week.. As soon as I switched to LOW POO, I loved my haircut again..I got a cleaner scalp and cleaner hair and more curls and bounce and better shine. I usually have really frizzy, wavy hair, and using the Deva Curl products has revealed beautiful, defined curls! The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars is that I wish they used organic ingredients....
