I wish they would have squared the bottom so you didn't have to fold out the dock and back support to keep it upright.The dock adapters fit, in my opinion, too securely. If your iPod doesn't fit in the one you've inserted, it takes a bit more effort than it should to get it out. But the dock adapters aren't really needed, because the iPod rests nicely in the impression. The sound is clear and can get pretty loud, but the claim of deep bass, unless the unit requires a big burn-in time, is false. An iRhythms unit half the size of this one sounds much better in the same room, with the same iPod, playing the same music. I was actually assuming it wouldn't because the description only says compatible with "iPod nano 3rd gen". These speaker sound good for their size. The "aux" in jack is on the back if you want to use these speakers for other types of mp3 player. |
