The stool supports me well. I was in a band for 7 years so I know what drums should sound like. This is VERY good for the price. It is the same drum set as others on here under a different brand (DeRosa/Bridgecraft) but same model number it even says DeRosa on the drum heads. As others have stated there are no instructions included but I found a video on "Utube" by searching for the model # that showed step by step how to set it up and also found videos on how to tune it properly. Once tuned, this thing sounds great. My son, and my wife, likes that he can take the snare outside on the patio as well. The set seems to have good quality construction and putting it together only took me about 30 minutes. My 3 y.o. daughter also loves to play it. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Good overall, By This review is from: Austin Bazaar 3-Piece Kid's Black Drumset with 16" Bass Drum, Snare, Cymbal, Pedal, Throne and Drumsticks We just got this set so it hasn't been in use for very long. So far so good. The set is nicely made and has a good sound. Instructions would have been nice. I ended up searching and eventually found instructions searching google.com with these terms "zoovy instructions austin bazaar junior drum set". Once we got the set together my husband was able to adjust the tightness of each drum and fine tune the sound. I like that it's an all in one set complete with the drum stool and sticks. Very disappointing, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Austin Bazaar 3-Piece Kid's Black Drumset with 16" Bass Drum, Snare, Cymbal, Pedal, Throne and Drumsticks It was really disappointing for me to receive a drum set that must have come from the showroom floor. A drum was scratched up, some of the other drums had rust rings, the cymbal had rust and something like a black tar on the edge sticking to it. It came with no instruction what so ever on how to assemble it and tune them. Good thing there is something call the internet to aid in some of the things. Can you imagine if the internet was not around to aid in the proper way of doing some of these things if you never had done it before. The one start was given because of the crappy instrument condition that I received and because I provably won't return it do to the holidays, I provably won't be able to get a replacement on time. I went ahead and cleaned it up as much as I could, repair most scratches to nearly not noticeable. All in all, I was and still am very disappointed of what I received. pros: the drums seem to be built very well and strong. cons: the drum... Read more |
