We use it all the time in our diaper bag and without it. You will end up using it all the time. It's the perfect size. We can fit a ton of wipes in the case, at least 4 size 2 diapers, and a small tube of diaper cream. You will need this item, it is not easy lugging a whole diaper bag into a bathroom and trying to change your baby's diaper on a changing table or on the ground. This makes it all so much easier. And it's discreet, so dad can use it too. It's a cute pattern. I decided to get a travel diaper case b/c I was tired of my old diaper bag and bought a large purse to use instead; however the purse didn't come with it's own changing pad, of course. This did the trick. It does take up a lot of room, but I can store about 3 size 3 diapers, a tube of cream and a travel container of wipes in it. My daughter at 18 mos was a little long for the pad, so half the time I laid her on it w/ her head on the remaining diapers. It worked well b/c they were like a pillow for her. I love having all her changing supplies handy.
