The set seems to be fairly well made and sturdy. Was impressed that it is actually made of wood. The drum heads are of a better material than expected. Cymbal sound could be better, rather tinny and cheap sounding but well made. The set went together very easily with the enclosed picture directions. My husband put it together in about an hour and a half. The only issue is that the instructions and photo were for a De Rosa Drum set and they are not at all like the barcelona.
